Primary & Specialist Care

Our experienced and internationally diverse team is comprised of Outpatient General Practitioners who are able to assist our patients with minor surgery, maternal and child care and following up of chronic conditions, as well as specialists in Allergic Diseases, Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Mental Health, Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. They each possess a depth of knowledge, wisdom and expertise that can only be gained through years of practice and hands-on patient care. Together, they collaborate seamlessly to provide comprehensive and personalised care that addresses the diverse needs of our patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes and peace of mind.

24/7 Emergency & Critical Care

In situations that require urgent intervention, you can rely on Stamford Medical to provide effective medical assistance round-the-clock with a highly prepared emergency response.

Our 24/7 Medical Emergency Hotline is manned by trained medical personnel who perform a medical triage to determine the appropriate medical response.

Our on-call medical team comprises of doctors, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other medical support staff as well as equipment for resuscitation, stabilization, ambulatory medicine and admission of critical care cases. Depending on the medical case, our medical response can be escalated and additional resources activated.

Simultaneously, our administrative team can provide any administrative support such as the coordination of domestic aeromedical and international medical escort assistance and liaising with our global network of partners including international tertiary hospitals, insurance companies and international medical assistance companies.

Medical Retrieval

With our 2 fully equipped ground ambulances, we are able to provide 24/7 mobile critical care to our patients in Dili and areas within a one-hour driving radius from Dili.

Working closely with aeromedical companies, international assistance providers and insurance companies, we can also provide seamless inter-facility and international transfers to definitive treatment for patients within Dili and the districts of Ataúro, Oé-cusse, Suai, Maliana, Baucau and Los Palos. More locations will be added as additional runways are built.

Stamford Medical is a licensed importer and distributor of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical consumables, reagents, and medical equipment in Timor-Leste.

Medical Diagnostics

In order to evaluate a patient’s health, we rely on a wide range of tests and diagnostic processes to analyse your symptoms. Our in-clinic laboratory allows us to perform various analyses with quick turnaround times. We are also able to conduct diagnoses via Digital X-Ray, ECG, Ultrasound, Audiometry and Spirometry.
